Beacon Bucks

The Valparaiso University Health Center, located in the Promenade East Building at 55 University Dr., Suite 102, accepts Beacon Bucks for vaccinations and physicals. For more information, visit the Health Center’s Website

University Fitness Center:

• Your OneCard gives you access to the Fitness Center.  You can also use your OneCard’s Beacon Bucks account to purchase:
  • Services provided by the Fitness Center, including personal fitness sessions
  • Exercise classes such as Kickboxing, Cycling, and Zumba
  • Valpo athletic gear to suit your fitness needs
• Purchase punch cards with Beacon Bucks:
  • 5 punches for $15 = $3 per class
  • 15 punches for $30 =$2 per class
  • 30 punches for $45 = $1.50 per class
  • Summer Unlimited Pass for $55
  • Yearly Unlimited Pass now available for $130
• To support operating costs, a fee is assessed to utilize the Fitness Center:
  • All full-time undergrads and full-time law students pay for this service as part of their tuition
  • Faculty and staff can pay an annual fee of $180 or $9 per pay period
  • All other card holders will need to pay the annual fee of $180.

Beacon Bucks can also be used at campus copiers in the Christopher Center and Harre Union.

You will save 3¢ per black and white copy by using Beacon Bucks.

Use your Beacon Bucks to purchase food at any of the campus dining locations, including Grinder’s, Campus Café, and the Founders Table. Note: You must first exhaust all meal plan funds before using Beacon Bucks for Dining Services.
