Dear Colleagues,

One of our primary goals in University Marketing is to foster relationships across campus and be a strategic partner for our colleagues as we uphold the brand identity of the University. As we settle in to a new academic year, here are some helpful resources we have developed for your use and reference:

2024–2025 University Marketing Plan: Our strategy, goals, tactics, and KPIs for the year
Brand Guidelines: Includes brand strategy, voice/tone, logos, typography, color, photography, and graphic elements
Editorial Style Guide: Comprehensive listing of the University editorial style to use for all marketing and communications
Social Media Policy: Provides direction for use of University-affiliated social media accounts
Website Governance: Guidelines for website content best practices, key audiences, workflows, and project requests
Valpo Stories Intake: Share updates about what Valpo students, faculty, staff, and alumni are up to
Photo Request Form: For portrait sessions, event coverage, and more
Event Submission for Digital Sign: Recommend on-campus events that could be displayed on the digital sign on U.S. Route 30

Coming Soon: Lytho! Our new digital asset management platform houses photos, videos, one-sheets, graphics, stories, logos, and more so departments can easily access assets related to their areas. We are working with divisional leadership to identify users and will reach out to assign access and provide training resources.

We will continue to share updates and resources throughout the year, as well as best practices and some tips and tricks. If there’s a certain topic that you’re interested in, or if you have an idea of a workshop that would be helpful, feel free to let us know!
