The Passing of Eldon and Donna Balko 

It saddens me to inform you that Eldon Balko, age 94, associate professor emeritus of music and Donna Balko, age 96, who served many years at the VU credit union and bookstore, passed on April 8 and March 10, 2025, respectively.

A memorial service will be held at the Valparaiso University Chapel on May 24^th, 2025 at 11:00am (CDT).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valparaiso University Music Department (valpo.edu/music) or the Lutheran Summer Music Academy (lsmacademy.org).

Please remember their family in your prayers as they mourn their loss.
